Are Mim Strats Any Good. are todays entry level guitars, the squiers and epiphone, the mim strats and indonesian starcasters better made. they are fine. I did a search function and nothing came up but was wondering if there was a time period for mim standard. The changes that fender makes every few years are nice, but they are subtle upgrades that rarely. Are there substantial quality differences? there are good ones and duds from all years, that's my take on it. I have a '74 strat that i think is an incredible guitar,. i have seen a couple of nice comparisons between the prior standard strat and the new player strat and agree. i own two strats, one usa deluxe and one mim. a 90s mim strat that has been setup by a good tech with levelled frets is a fantastic guitar with no drawbacks and i play mine.
